Our Team

Meet the professionals dedicated to supporting your healing journey.

Meet Elizabeth Friedman

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience helping people navigate OCD and anxiety. I specialize in evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

I believe in creating a warm, judgment-free space where you can feel truly understood. My approach combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion—helping you develop practical tools to work with your thoughts rather than against them.

"I'm a mix of an optimistic cheerleader and a realistic teacher with a sense of humor and a direct, no-nonsense approach."

Meet Lynn Bixenspan

Intern OCD Therapist

I aim to be warm, direct, and LGBTQ-affirming, and I want you to be able to say the weird, uncomfortable, embarrassing thing out loud.

I'm an intern OCD therapist. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches, and I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent adults. I also pay close attention to how the patterns in your relationships and the messages you've picked up from the world show up in what you're dealing with now.

"Sometimes our brains do things we don't want them to. Let's figure out how to work with them, not against them."

Jania Campbell, Mental Health Counselor in Training

Meet Jania Campbell

Mental Health Counselor in Training

If you're someone who struggles internally with loud, recurring intrusive thoughts, who feels the need to be perfect all the time, or has the habit of putting others' needs before your own — if you find yourself asking questions like: "Do I even have OCD or am I just neurotic?" "Are my thoughts who I really am inside?" "What if everyone hates me?" "I constantly feel like a bad person, and even with reassurance I feel no relief" — we can navigate these thoughts together.

In therapy with me, I'm direct with a side of warmth, creativity, and humor. Think of me as your honest supporter! I will be someone in your corner who genuinely believes in you, and who also cares enough to tell you the truth — kindly, clearly, and without judgment.

I'm a mental health counselor in training, and in my opinion, therapy should feel like sitting down with a friend. I will listen without rushing you, laugh with you when it helps, and walk through the hard stuff with you.

In session, we'll dig into the patterns, the fears, the recurring thoughts. I'll make it my duty to source resources for you, recommend small tangible "homework" to try between sessions, and honestly meet you where you are.

"So just show up as yourself and we'll figure the rest out together."
